I remixed my own thing for two compelling reasons: With the previous design, the bed mount and "pole" to attach the camera were one piece, which proved to be a weak solution. I've now incorporated Partykongenbaddi's air intake funnel into my printers, necessitating a longer version since the funnel was colliding with the camera. To address this issue, I designed a camera mount consisting of four distinct components: the camera mount, a separate 'pole', and camera enclosure front and back. The camera mount snaps onto the bed Y-carriage of the MK3 - it features a slot that fits perfectly around the carriage. To secure it in place, you'll need only one zip-tie to prevent the piece from sliding off the Y-carriage. Another slot is provided for the ribbon cable of the camera. If desired, you can use additional zip-ties to guide the ribbon cable towards the printer. To mount the 'pole', simply use a square M3 nut and a M3 bolt/screw to install it onto the bed mount. The camera enclosure has 3mm holes in its lips for securing it to the 'pole' with an M3 screw/nut. You can utilize the spare M3 bolts/screws and nuts provided with your printer. I've created both 45-degree angled versions and straight ones, as well as left and right options. The angled versions ensure that the camera mount remains parallel to the bed. If you're using the intake duct as described above, you'll need the 'long' versions; otherwise, the shorter versions will suffice. The Pi camera I utilize is a wide-angle (fish eye) version.
