I created my own customized design for two reasons. Firstly, the original design had a bed mount and a "pole" to attach the camera that were one piece, which wasn't the strongest solution. Secondly, I recently added Partykongenbaddi's air intake funnel to my printers and needed a longer version since the funnel was crashing into the camera. As a result, I designed a new camera mount consisting of four parts: the camera mount, a separate 'pole', a camera enclosure front and back. The camera mount snaps onto the bed Y-carriage of the MK3 - it has a slot that fits perfectly around the carriage. One zip-tie is needed to avoid the piece sliding off the Y-carriage and in order to fix it even more tightly. Another slot is provided for the ribbon cable of the camera. To guide the ribbon cable, you can use extra zip-ties. The 'pole' can be mounted onto the bed mount using a square M3 nut and a M3 bolt/screw. The camera enclosure has 3mm holes in the lips to fix it to the 'pole' with an M3 screw/nut. You can use the spare M3 bolts/screws and nuts provided with your printer. I created 45 degree angled versions and straight versions as well as left and right versions of the camera mount. The angled versions ensure that the camera mount is parallel to the bed. If you're using an intake duct, you'll need the 'long' versions; otherwise, use the shorter ones. I'm using a Pi camera with a wide angle (fish eye) version.
