This remix of the original design provides a remote-mounted PSU solution that doesn't require the Prusa frame bracket. Key modifications include adding cutouts on the top and sides to ensure all cooling slots are exposed, allowing for improved airflow. The conversion process utilizes the mk3 plug/fuseholder, switch, powerpanic board, and hardware from the Prusa psi cover. No additional components are needed to upgrade a mk3 to the Mean Well LRS 350-24. To enhance the overall experience, I replaced the MeanWell fan with a quieter alternative from Amazon, specifically the B00N1Y4ARG model, which is designed to provide a more peaceful operation.
