Prusa i3 MK3 PINDA sensor protector

Prusa i3 MK3 PINDA sensor protector

My first public contribution! Prusa used to offer an official PINDA sensor protector as an STL for the MK2, but with the completely new extruder design on the MK3, there's no room left for the old one. To safeguard my PINDA sensor from rogue prints that can lift it off (Nefertiti nearly destroyed mine before I halted the print), I opened Fusion360 and designed a custom PINDA sensor protector tailored to the MK3. Don't forget to calibrate your extruder multiplier accurately, and for optimal results, use ABS or PETG filament. Although I've only printed it with PLA so far – and that turned out fine from a temperature perspective (while printing PLA, naturally)
