This is a relatively simple remix of my previous X-Axis motor mounted PiCam mount to include a diffuser.

Following the instructions from the original should do you just fine for this: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3069717

Some extra notes:

The STL named "Arms with Diffusers (fixt).stl" is with the diffusers baked onto the arms with no additional parts like the actual camera holder. This works well with a simple color change at layer gcode command.

The STL named "Arm and Cam Holder.stl" is a fairly small variation on the old design to allow for the diffusers, and the "Diffusers.stl" are the diffusers for that model. In PrusaSlicer you can use the "add part" feature (right click the object, add part, load... and select the diffusers.stl file), and thus use a multi-material setup or still use the a simple color change if you don't mind the camera holder parts having a color change.

I tried printing this as a multi-material part using my Mosaic Palette 2S and their Canvas web-based slicer, but it kept failing due to how it handles bridging... it's possible I could have tweaked the model further so it would work better, but I knew PrusaSlicer would handle the bridging much better and adding a simple color swap g-code would be super simple.

Final note, I used different RGB LED strips this time around: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B07NWFVRY4/ref=ppx\_yo\_dt\_b\_search\_asin\_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Print instructions

Category: 3D Printer Accessories Summary

This is a relatively simple remix of my previous X-Axis motor mounted PiCam mount to include a diffuser.

Following the instructions from the original should do you just fine for this: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3069717

Some extra notes:

The STL named "Arms with Diffusers (fixt).stl" is with the diffusers baked onto the arms with no additional parts like the actual camera holder. I think PLA would work just fine, though.

Ultimately the diffusers don't quite work as well as I'd hope looking at them head on because the LED strips are so close to the diffusers, but I do think the light they're casting on the model is better.
