Prusa i3 MK3 MMU2 ENCLOSURE -Ikea Lack table
thingiverse
Because I wanted more space for the MMU2 that's due to arrive soon, I decided to enlarge the Lack enclosure to 600mm instead of its original size of 440mm. I proceeded to extrude new parts and drill holes in the bottom components since they were missing this feature initially. Before ordering plexiglas panels, I printed the enclosure frames first and then took precise measurements. After subtracting 2mm from these dimensions, I found that it fit perfectly and was a very tight seal. My final design includes three pieces measuring 605x448 each, while the door size is slightly off due to the lack of clearance around the left panel. To accommodate this, I created a custom door with two panels: one measuring 602x120 and another measuring 602x325. To minimize the appearance of a large pillar supporting the bottom hinge, I included a step in the design. This modification can be easily edited if desired. The addition of doorknobs completes the enclosure's assembly, with no changes to their original configuration.
