I quickly noticed that my Extruder motor was heating up a lot, with temperatures reaching as high as 60-70 degrees Celsius. I double-checked to make sure everything was properly mounted and aligned. Although the kind Prusa support team assured me that these temperatures were within acceptable limits, I still had my doubts, especially considering my future plans for printing ABS in an enclosure setup. To err on the side of caution, I decided to create a small bracket for a 40mm fan that could be clipped directly onto the Extruder motor. After all, cold is good - it's always good! As some people say, "Winter is coming." Results: - V1 (without radiator): the engine remained just warm to the touch during my prints, and I was thrilled. - V2 (with radiator): the engine stayed comfortably lukewarm when printing, leaving me beaming with joy.
