Prusa i3 MK3 MK3S 1.75mm Filament Feed Guide for 3D Printer Enclosure

I designed this 3D Printer 1.75mm Filament Feed Guide for my Prusa i3 MK3 after building a two-tier IKEA Lack Table based enclosure to store a pair of printers. The twin-story configuration made it impossible to feed the filament from above the bottom printer, so I decided to design a filament feed guide that would allow the filament spool to sit alongside the printer. As part of the design, it was crucial to ensure that the filament could be fed and changed easily without getting snagged or suffering excessive friction during prints. This could lead to extruder gears slipping or being placed under unwanted stress. I also wanted a feeder to be attached easily with no tools or modifications needed, and one that would stay firmly in place throughout use. After numerous variations on my original design, this filament feeder is the result. After more than a year of testing with various spools of PLA, ABS, PETG, and Flexible filament, the filament feeder has met and exceeded my expectations. The kit consists of 3 printed parts and a 15cm length of 4mm O.D. (outer diameter) teflon tube that must be purchased separately and probably cut to size. To assemble the kit, simply push one end of the teflon tube all the way into the head of the upper feed arm and the other end into the circular well of the flat mounting bracket. Next, clip the filament feed arm onto the right side of the top of the printer's metal frame. Be careful of the clips when mounting the flat base onto the top of the right-hand Z axis into the hexagonal hole. Rotate the teflon tube as necessary to secure it in place. Finally, slip the hexagonal locking key into the base, which keeps it mounted firmly in position. Designed for the MK3 and MK3S, I'm not sure if this design fits the frame of the MK2/MK2S/MK2.5.
