###What is it?\r\nSince reports indicate that power supplies for the Prusa i3 mk3 are unreliable, I designed a custom PSU cover to utilize a Mean Well NES-350-24 or its equivalent replacement, the LRS-350-24. The primary difference between these two models lies in their form factor - the LRS-350 is thinner and measures 1U.\r\n\r\nMy design ensures that it maintains the sleek appearance of the stock PSU. I welcome any feedback you may have on this project.\r\n\r\n###Hardware\r\nTo assemble the cover, you can utilize the stock screws and nuts provided for the bottom PSU plate. These include:\r\n6 M4X10 flat head screws\r\n2 M4X12R screws to secure the PSU to the Prusa frame.\r\n2 M4 Nuts up to 3mm in thickness.\r\n\r\nA crucial note: when attaching the PSU to the Prusa frame, ensure that the screws are not too long. If they are, they may exert pressure on the power supply and warp the frame. Simply tighten them enough to secure the PSU snugly.\r\n\r\n###Update:\r\n03-12-2018: I revised my design by removing the LRS bottom plate due to an alignment issue. The NES Version is now recommended, as they are compatible.\r\n03-22-2018: I added Fusion360 files for your reference. Keep in mind that this was my first significant project using this software, and I encountered some difficulties maintaining a clean design for the LRS version. As a result, it may not be the most elegant project.\r\n\r\n###Notes:\r\n1. The Mean Well PSUs are secured with M4 hardware, so I opted for countersunk screws to ensure a seamless fit.\r\n2. You will need two M4 Thin nuts to attach the adapter plate to the Prusa Frame and longer screws to secure it in place.\r\n3. Due to clearance issues with the rear extrusion frame, I had to notch out a small area on the PSU bottom plate. This 6.5mmX 6.5mm region may require minimal support. Any feedback you have on this aspect is welcome.\r\n4. Although I haven't tested the LRS-350 Version myself, as I don't possess this PSU, Mean Well provides schematics for their PSUs. If necessary, please let me know if any modifications are required.
