This part replaces the original filament sensor cover of the Prusa i3 Mk3, allowing for a small piece of sponge to be included to eliminate dust and other particles on the filament. The design incorporates the same Teflon tube as the original filament sensor cover. Be cautious when printing with translucent filaments, as room lighting can cause the filament sensor to incorrectly detect errors due to excessive light exposure.
