This mod from the Prusa i3 MK3 Extruder Stepper cooler by CG-Tech incorporates the C-1 part, which is mounted directly onto the Extruder piece using an M3 bolt. A tube is also included for easy filament insertion behind the duct fan. I'm installing this part on my PRUSA i3 MK3S due to PLA print failures while printing objects with numerous retractions inside a closed environment. The high temperature of the extruder stepper motor causes the PLA material to become damaged by the extruder gear. Airflow is provided by a 40 mm Noctua NF-A4X20 FLX Silent Fan, which is connected directly to the EINSY 24V output via a DC 24V to 12V converter.
