Prusa i3 Mk3 Enclosure PSU Bracket
prusaprinters

Simple minimalistic PSU bracket to attach the PSU to an Ikea Lack enclosure as I found the official version too large and cumbersome. This printed in an hour in PETG. I'm going to have the PSU cables go through the tabletop after someone suggesting it on the Prusa forum but this will also work with the original cable port in the printed corner. In that case you can mount this bracket on the other side of the PSU but only 1 threaded hole will be available.

Required materials: 4 off countersunk woodscrews 3.5x30mm and 2 off M4x16mm Allen screws.

The bracket is mounted to the PSU using the Allen screws that go into two existing threaded holes. The assembly is then screwed onto the Lack table with 2 screws through the original mounting bracket into the tabletop and 2 screws through the new bracket into the leg. The screwholes have an offset so the screws won't hit inside the leg.

WARNING: If you use longer Allen screws than the 16mm long ones I have designed this bracket for they might hit electronic components inside the PSU. I don't know if different versions exist of the PSU so OBSERVE YOURSELF is the screws interfere with any electronics while fitting by looking through the cooling slots. This is your responsibility, not mine.
Category: 3D Printer Parts
