To install, swap out the factory-issued 18mm long M3 socket head screws with 20mm long M3 flathead screws. I've also designed a matching fan cover for the hot end fan - look up "Prusa i3 Mk3 Fan Cover - Louvered" to find it. You can see this part in action by checking out the pictures showing it installed.
