My innovative spool holder upgrade for my Prusa i3 Mk2s printer is designed to accommodate all spool types I've encountered, unlike the standard holder. Additionally, it securely holds a customizable namplate that can be copied and edited to give your printer a unique personal touch! I've included a blank nameplate file that you can edit as needed. The upgrade utilizes the spare M3x10 screws and M3 square nuts from the Prusa spare hardware package, eliminating the need for additional hardware. I use a marker as my axle because it's smooth and easy to remove; alternative options include a dowel or a 3D printed rod. **Disclaimer:** When printing extremely tall objects, please remove the front plate of the holder to prevent interference with the extruder near maximum z height. The holder will remain in place, but the nameplate will need to be temporarily removed for optimal performance.
