Prusa i3 MK2S dual z endstop
thingiverse
I have a DIY Priusa clone, and to get automatic alignment I chose to use dual Z steppers. With this solution I always get horizontal alignment without manual work. Endstops don't need to be adjustable; just change offsets in firmware, design is made not to break switches even if the Z axis moves lower after detection. N.B. 6mm version is to be used with Dondolo. Anti-wobble replacement parts can be found at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2546530 and https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2513963. BOM: - 4 M3x10 (DIN 912/ISO 4762) screws - 4 M3x12 (DIN 912/ISO 4762) screws - 4 M3 washers (DIN 125/ISO 7089) Microswitches are connected as follows: Normally Closed +5V Common Signal Normally Open GND
