I built this device because I needed to replace the bearing in my filament feeder. Unfortunately, I couldn't find a bearing with an inner diameter of exactly 5mm, so I had to settle for one that was 8mm instead. That's why I created this solution - to give others the option of using bearings with an inner diameter of at least 8mm.
