Prusa_i3_MK2_Y_Axis_Belt_Holder_Modular
thingiverse
This is a modified version of Josef's Y axis belt holder. I created this one with ease of removal in mind, specifically for replacing PEI sheets (http://manual.prusa3d.com/Guide/Replacing+the+PEI+sheet/133#_ga=1.105576833.343745215.1487835015). By using this modular belt holder, you can remove the heat bed without loosening screws - just release the Y belt tension and take apart the holder. This design also makes it easier to install MartinMajewski's great "Y-Frame Assembly Helper" (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1846654) from the top with the heat bed in place, using this modular holder. I printed both parts in different colors for better visibility. Important: Follow these post-printing instructions! EDIT (2017-03-24): I've added an enforced version of the inner part. Print Settings: Printer: Prus i3 Mk2 Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.100 Infill: 20% Post-Printing Important hint: The design is precision-crafted to avoid calibration issues or printing quality impacts. To ensure smooth sliding, slowly assemble and disassemble printed parts several times before installation on the printer.
