I couldn't help but notice that the Y-axis had three linear bearings on it instead of four. It seemed like there was a chance for the Y-axis to shift around due to this discrepancy. I created this plate in PET and it clips onto the aluminum frame, securing the single bearing into place while providing two guides for the steel shaft. Clipping the plate into the frame aligns everything perfectly. The spacing is such that it's about the same overall length as the bearings on the other side. It has clearance all around, including space to account for missing the feet. After clipping the plate in, it remains in place thanks to the zip-tie used to hold the bearing in position. You should apply a small amount of light machine oil to the bearing shaft so that the guide runs smoothly and quietly. There's a bit of flexibility built into the plate to compensate for any alignment issues that may arise. The idea is to slow down the rate at which the Y-axis can move around, rather than completely eliminating movement altogether.
