Having tightened my x-belt I discovered that the brace cracked due to the overly tight idler screw. I've been searching for an x-end idler that can tighten the belt, but so far I haven't found one that fits my requirements. The one I designed is as close to the original design as possible and extremely sturdy. You'll need a well-calibrated printer, as the tolerances are very small and intended that way. Cleaning the supports was enough for me, but some sanding might still be necessary. To assemble this part you will need two M3 square nuts and two M3x18 or similar screws. I printed it at 0.2mm with three shells and 35% infill, which proved to be quite sturdy. The PETG I used comes from 3DPSp.de, where I also get all my other printer parts. It processed perfectly without any drooping or degrading issues. This material is very fine to work with - it's extremely sturdy and has no adhesion problems at all.
