Here's my Prusa i3 MK2 based printer. All parts started out as the i3 MK2, which I imported from OpenSCAD through FreeCad, and adapted to suit a MKS Gen controller and other readily available Chinese components, such as power supply, lead-screw nuts, end stops etc. I've added belt tensioners, converted it to bowden with an extruder based on the compact extruder mounted at the top. LCD housings for regular and full graphic displays are included. The X motor can be mounted forward or back. Dual Z endstops are supported (integrated into the motor mounts). The frame is custom, though mostly similar to the i3, main differences being that I stretched it for 300mm print height, and customized the left-side controller mount holes. DXFs for tall and regular height are included. The heat-bed shown is one I custom designed, based on the MK2 concept, but made from aluminium, with PEI cover. It supports 240x240mm printing. M8 length: 205mm M10 length: 425mm Rod lengths: - X: 350mm - Y: 405mm - Z: 420mm (or 320mm regular height) Lead screws are 400mm (or 300mm for regular height) Power supply is a S-360-12 from aliexpress.
