Prusa i3 MK2 Vibration Spring

Great thanks to ggenter for inspiring me with his "Synology DS216PLAY Vibration Damper". I utilized it to dampen my Prusa i3 MK2, but I quickly realized that the unsymmetrical weight distribution of the printer wasn't compatible with the one type of damper. Because the printer is heavier in the back, we need stiffer springs there and some softer ones in the front. Additionally, we have to consider that the power distribution unit on the back right side is the heaviest corner. To achieve this, I reworked the damper and transformed it into a parametric model with variable wall thickness. By testing different settings, I've now arrived at the following distribution: Front: 1.1mm Spring Back right: 1.2mm Back left: 1.1mm I noticed that the spring got compressed over time due to permanent weight support. If this happens, simply replace the concerning spring with one a step stiffer. I'm glad I was able to share my experience with you. In my case, it effectively eliminated almost all noisy vibrations. Now, I only hear the fan running.
