Prusa I3 MK2 Vibration Damper Rubber feet
thingiverse
Simple feet for the Prusa I3 Mk2 are designed to reduce noise and prevent slipping on the support surface. These feet can be used with or without the Prusa felt pads that are already in place. To achieve optimal results, the feet must be printed in a flexible filament like Filaflex, NinjaFlex, or similar materials (Hardness 92A - 98A). Printing four pieces is sufficient, and they can simply be slipped on without the need for glue. The feet shown in photos were printed using Black 1.75mm 3DE flex filament. Alternatively, White 1.75mm Devil Design Flex/TPU can also be used. **Print Settings:** * Printer: Original Prusa i3 MK2 * Rafts: No rafts are needed. * Supports: No supports should be generated during the print process. * Resolution: A resolution of 0.20mm is recommended for optimal results. * Infill: Use an infill percentage between 10% and 20%, and select the rectilinear pattern in Slic3r. **Additional Notes:** * Print two perimeters, four top layers, and three bottom layers. * For flexible filaments, it's essential to print slowly or use a profile supplied by Prusa.
