A Monoprice-style filament spool holder for the Prusa i3 MK2 makes switching out spools much easier. It prints as a single part without any supports. To get a strong part, print with high infill, approximately 40%, and at least 3 walls. Update 2/28/17: The v2 file includes changes to accommodate more spools and fix an issue where the extruder assembly would rub against the front frame if fully raised. It's now 15mm taller and has a reduced height and thickness on the front overhang. Print Settings: Printer: Prusa i3 MK2 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 35-50% Notes: Use a high infill percentage, no supports needed. Three-dimensional infill is recommended for a strong part.
