Prusa i3 MK2/s & MK3 and Lack Enclosure Threaded Spool Holder
thingiverse
Inspired by @pauloremigio's Simple Spool Holder, I created one with a threaded nut to lock the spool firmly in place. The design includes threaded and unthreaded washers as well as a threaded nut to secure the threaded washer tightly. I confirmed that it fits the MK3 perfectly. When assembling, don't tighten the washer/nuts against the spool; instead, let the spool turn freely. Use a threaded washer and nut on one end, tightening them together to create a barrier on the left side of the spool. You can also add an unthreaded washer on the right side if you prefer. I recently built a Lack enclosure for my MK3 and added a new base that bolts to the top of a lack enclosure, maintaining the same threaded design.
