Prusa i3 MK2 MK2s MK2.5 MK3 enclosure home made
thingiverse
At first, thank you to all people who comment or help me to make this project better. Here's my homemade WIP enclosure for my actual Prusa i3 MK2.5. Need work for i3, mk2, mk2s, and mk3, but not for MM without modification because of the spool inside. With fan control depending on temperature. With thermometer and hygrometer. Two LED ramps are included. Actual BLUM rails were used (really not cheap, but for me was recovered). 18.7.18 I made some little changes like the size of the front window due to wood tools available. I will add my LED ramps and support I changed. I will probably add a 12V PSU for rear fan, rheostat, LEDs, and maybe other accessories. I hesitate to pick 12V from printer... but I don't know if it's the best way for 12V stability... - I will probably print this thing: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2946967 to save around 50mm and maybe be able to keep LCD attached to V-slot in the front. 23.07.2018: Printed but not sure this is the best way. 23.07.18 Add two pictures, I fixed the filament spool holder and change a bit the PTFE holder position. The end of PTFE goes directly to the printer and not to another piece as planned on 3D files (here's the filament sensor cap I printed: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2847470). Now, I'm doing wiring for LEDs and fan with a 12V 2A power supply who will probably be hidden under the drawer. 24.07.18 Add one picture with LED placed but wiring not finished (waiting for the end to place definitively wires). Try to add acoustic foam on one side; I will add in the end in the left side, top side, and... 08.18: fixed the chain cable of drawer. Now, I'm waiting for the door and plexi from my girlfriend, and have some other things to do before my holidays!
