Just wanted to create an LED holder for the Prusa i3 MK2, which is fast to print and does the job. The LED holder won't interfere with the print head and the LEDs can be tilted for the desired angle. I used some LED stripes from Banggood.com (http://eu.banggood.com/Wholesale-Warehouse-50cm-9W-5630-SMD-36-LED-Waterproof-Rigid-Strip-Cabinet-Light-DC-12V-wp-Eu-933993.html) but most LED stripes with equal dimensions should work fine. But take care if your LEDs get hot, they will deform PLA. All you need are the following parts: 2x haken_rahmen_v2 4x klemmteil_v2 2x M3 x 25 mm screws (or longer) 2x M3 hex nuts (self-locking preferred) 1x LED stripe === English === My goal was to create an LED holder for the Prusa i3 MK2, which can be printed quickly and simply works. Since the LED holder is mounted on the back of the frame, it cannot collide with the print head. The angle of the LEDs can be easily adjusted. I ordered LEDs from Banggood, which are available in the EU warehouse: http://eu.banggood.com/Wholesale-Warehouse-50cm-9W-5630-SMD-36-LED-Waterproof-Rigid-Strip-Cabinet-Light-DC-12V-wp-Eu-933993.html The LEDs get only slightly warm at around 38 degrees Celsius and the metal strip gets only about 30 degrees warm. Therefore, PLA is sufficient. Required parts: 2x haken_rahmen_v2 4x klemmteil_v2 2x M3 x 25 mm screws (longer ones are also fine) 2x M3 hex nuts (preferably with a locking mechanism / self-locking) 1x LED strip Print Settings Printer: Prusa i3 MK2 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2 Infill: 20% Notes: If your LEDs get hot, don't use PLA. Use PETG or ABS instead.
