Prusa i3 mk2 isolation feet
thingiverse
I really loved the damper that hofftari created: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1707045 I disliked having to work underneath my printer, where I had to reposition the springs afterwards. I wanted a solution that would be securely attached and out of the way. I found Prusa's isolation foot design on their website and adapted it to hold onto M10 rods using a zip tie. I also designed an end piece to stabilize the frame. These parts were printed in Hatchbox TPU with one shell and 10% infill. The design file for the feet that attach to M10 rods is here: https://cad.onshape.com/documents/d8169e2b6e579ec52bf7f98a/w/93eb378bc07bf00b21733f79/e/aaa7c77262de14e36e43b6c8 The frame end cap design is here: https://cad.onshape.com/documents/d8169e2b6e579ec52bf7f98a/w/93eb378bc07bf00b21733f79/e/35088184ea02f5e4d0b27343 Print 4 of the feet and two end caps. My printer is now very stable and quiet.
