Prusa i3 MK2 IR Z probe DC42 mount

This redesigned mount is tailored specifically to the DC42 IR mini height sensor board, drawing inspiration from the Aus3D IR Z probe's design. The new mount is compatible with Prusa extruders, which utilize M3 screws as opposed to the M2.5 screws found on standard E3D fan ducts. The primary motivation behind this custom mount was the need for a suitable solution for my Prusa MK2 clone, given that PINDA proved unsuitable for generic hot beds. With DC42 IR probes in place, it becomes possible to utilize MK3 aluminum beds paired with glass surfaces, an ideal setup for printing PETG, as PEI tends to be easily compromised by such configurations.
