Prusa i3 MK2 Heat Bed Belt Holder (2 Piece Design)
thingiverse
I designed a two-piece belt holder to make maintenance easier. Since I replace my bed's PEI sheet and other components, I wanted to create a system that lets me remove the belt without disturbing its tension. To achieve this, I added quick disconnect plugs for my heat bed and thermistor, allowing me to take out the bed in just 30 seconds without opening the electronics box or unplugging anything. To assemble this holder, you'll need three M2 x 8mm screws that secure the two pieces together, providing a sturdy connection. You can reuse the same two screws from your stock belt holder for added convenience. **Print Settings:** * **Printer:** Prusa i3 MK2 * **Rafts:** No rafts are needed. * **Supports:** Print without supports for a smooth finish. * **Resolution:** Use a layer thickness of 0.20mm for optimal print quality. * **Infill:** Set infill density to 20% for a good balance between strength and weight.
