Prusa i3 mk2 filament rollers
thingiverse
This is a remix of some rollers I really like, but I improved some aspects to suit my needs. Originals were too tall for my enclosure (IKEA Stuva frame) so I redesigned arms and did a "low rider" rollers kinda thing :). Originals interfered with the Z/X axis movement so I was always afraid to print objects. I re-designed the hooks and shifted filament place a bit so that wouldn't happen, now it's safe to full 200mm Z movement. Plastic nuts and bolts were not quite to my liking, I prefer using steel hardware for reliability. I added embedded bushings on the arms and an additional bushing for the inside for the use of steel hardware with higher tensions. EXTRA PARTS FOR ASSEMBLY: 4x 608 bearings (any skate/surf shop should carry them, they are very common) 4x M6x30mm steel bolts 4x M6 steel bolts This thing was made with Sketchup and uploaded/compiled in Tinkercad. Edit it online https://www.tinkercad.com/things/fjNXLmF3xvA NOTE: I have stopped using this design in favor of these, which work much better imho: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1967113
