I designed a custom holder for my spool rack since I needed something to guide the filament over the top of it. The pivot ball design captures the filament perfectly as it prints. So far, this setup has been working flawlessly for me. To assemble this holder, you will need two #6 screws that are 3/4 inches long, which can be easily found in any hardware store.
