I wasn't too happy about the original holder that came with the Prusa i3 Mk2. You have to move the holders to accommodate different width spools of filament, which can be frustrating. I designed a tube that fits between the holders, so you don't have to worry about moving them every time. The tube is 90mm long, making it perfect for Prusa spools or narrower ones. Version 2 has an oversized internal diameter with a 0.5 mm clearance, which gives a nice fit on the Prusa holder arms and makes insertion easier. It also features chamfered edges for a smooth fit. To prevent spools from rolling off, I made it with a 3 mm smaller outer diameter than the Prusa holders' outside diameter of 25mm. Version 3 is a longer version, 100mm, which clears the 90mm Prusa spools nicely. Print it upright with a 3 mm brim since it's very tall and narrow! The filament guide I used can be found here: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1708213. Print Settings: Printer Brand: Prusa Printer: Prusa Mk2 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2 mm Infill: 20% Notes: The print was a bit slow, so I printed it at 150% speed from the original Slic3r settings that Prusa ships for PLA.
