As the nozzle sits snugly on the Prusa Mk2, barely any light manages to reach the print area. To add illumination beneath the fan duct, simply connect a standard 5mm LED and a 500-ohm resistor in series. Then, wire it directly to the cooling fan's 12-volt connection. Additionally, filing down the end of the LED at a 45-degree angle and polishing the surface helps to focus the light into a concentrated beam.
