Ismael Feliciano has released an upgraded v2 version of his Easy Spool Holder, featuring rollers and a filament guide. Due to height restrictions in my enclosure, I reengineered my low rider supports to accommodate the new rollers, incorporating a filament guide and adding tabs for stability. The rollers and bolts were also lengthened to support larger spools up to 96mm. EXTRA PARTS REQUIRED: 4x 608 bearings (widely available at skate/surf shops) EDIT (2017.02.21): I uploaded the Main Supports to a V8 with an enhanced stiff filament guide and increased height for full-height prints. The Nuts and Bolts were updated to a V2 due to errors in the original file. EDIT (2017.02.26): The Main Supports were revised to a V9 with a cleaner design, eliminating tabs that sometimes locked up spools. I've been printing these in ABS without issues for some time now. Print Settings: Printer: Prusa i3 mk2 Rafts: No Supports: Doesn't Matter Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 15-20% Notes: I printed prototypes using Prusa's Orange PLA, but to prevent warping in enclosures that run slightly warm inside, I recommend printing with ABS.
