Prusa i3 MK2 boden holder cap
thingiverse
This is a boden tube holder for the Prusa i3 Mk2. Purpose: Hold a boden tube securely to the extruder, preventing exposed filament from an airtight enclosure. It also stabilizes low angles of the filament when storing it under the printer. For the enclosure see here: http://www.thingiverse.com/make/248096 Frequently Asked Questions: Why does the boden tube appear cut short after being attached to the holder? Using an IKEA Lack enclosure, I encountered difficulties printing with a full boden tube due to space constraints and squishing. Previously, I used only an airtight filament enclosure, allowing for a full-length boden tube attachment. Now, this design helps maintain a stable angle of the filament. Print Settings: Printer Brand: RepRap Printer: Prusa i3 MK2 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2 Infill: 10% Notes: This holder effortlessly finds its place on the extruder; simply insert it into the filament string.
