It enables using NEMA shock absorber on the Y-axis of the Prusa I3 MK2 and provides significantly more strength in the holding rods. I obtained my dampers from here: http://www.ebay.de/itm/Shock-Absorber-Stepper-Vibration-Damper-for-Nema17-Stepper-Motor-/172311965775 Print Settings: Printer: Prusa I3 MK2 Rafts: Yes Supports: No Resolution: 0.2 Infill: 25% Notes: I printed in ABS and used 4 top shells as well as 5 bottom shells, along with 5 perimeter shells. Infill is set to 25% honeycomb pattern.
