Prusa i3 Mill
thingiverse
Since my environment disallows using acids to create PCBs and the Prusa i3 allows easy head exchange (just two screws), I want to create a milling head for it so I can mill my PCB designs with my Prusa. My mill is a Mannesmann Compact Tool Art, Number 92577. I found this tool on Amazon here: http://www.amazon.com/Mannesmann-Schnellschleif-Gerät-flexibler-Welle-M92577/dp/B000ET60FQ Print Settings Printer Brand: RepRap Printer: Prusa i3 Plus Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.25 Infill: 30% Custom Section Diary [X] are photo numbers 2016-04-04 Design and print of first prototype mill carriage [1-5] 2016-04-05 Setup my toolchain using Ubuntu 16.04 (KiCad, ngspice with LTSpice subcircuits) 2016-04-06 Cut some wooden boards for the bed 220mm x 220mm x 15mm [6] Printing four additional z adjusters from Prusa parts [7] Continued tomorrow, need to buy an ABS filament and clean my extruder.
