This project is still evolving but so far it's showing promising results with plenty of room for improvement :). It draws inspiration from the Magnetic X carriage by Banholm - you can find the link below. Please note that all hotend brackets are taken directly from Banholm's project and he deserves full credit for his innovative magnetic design! (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1829779) The original idea behind this design was conceived by Thingirobs Modular X car (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1438795), so we're giving him due recognition for his original concept. To build the carriage, you'll need 10x 5x3 Neodymium magnets (https://goo.gl/XW8Cm5) and additional sets depending on how many brackets you want to create :). I'm currently working on a magnetic coupler for the wiring and will add it once I have a stable and secure version.
