Prusa I3 - Lubricating Filament Guide
thingiverse
I attempted to use a lubricated cotton thread to pull the filament through, but it ended up getting tangled in the cut-out slot, which offered no assistance in guiding the filament as I expected. Rebooting this project someday seems like a possibility. To create an easier filament passage system, applying canola oil or something similar to the cotton thread will keep it lubricated and allegedly prevent hotend jams. However, further testing is necessary to see its full effects. This 6mm frame-compatible design remains untested as I have yet to print it, leaving many unanswered questions regarding its performance with different filaments, specifically how well they stay in the spout created. As such, it's best printed at your discretion.
