Prusa i3 Light Strip Fixture for Hotend
thingiverse
This is to attach LED light strips directly to the hot end. It's the component printed in white in the photos. Those LED light strips are extremely affordable: http://a.co/3i100lo $8 for 300 LEDs Used three zip ties to secure it in place. I can now see the print quality very clearly, especially inside an enclosure. My workshop is well lit, but it still doesn't provide sufficient illumination on the printed piece. Even my frame-mounted LED lights don't effectively illuminate the filament as it's extruding. I've added a Solidworks part file so you can modify it to your liking... I technically own a Max Micron i3, but I believe it's nearly identical to Anet A8 and Geeetech i3 hotend configurations.
