This upgrade boosts the X axis of your Prusa i3 to perfection, making your printer extremely quiet. The lead screw measures 8 mm in diameter, while the bearings are high-quality 608ZZ units. I opted for 1/16 microstepping on this axis, resulting in a precise 800 steps per unit. To bring these parts to life, I relied on support and a resolution of 0.2, accompanied by 30% infill. This upgrade was printed on my trusty Hephestos i3 with the reliable Diamond hotend. Designing These Parts I crafted these components using Cubify Design, an intuitive tool that allowed me to bring this project to fruition.
