Prusa i3 lasercut frame z axis leadscrew remix
thingiverse
I redesigned several files to match my laser cut Prusa i3 frame with T8 lead screws perfectly. Here are those files that I used. I took advantage of a dxf file from a lasercut to modify it for lead screws on the top support. Using trapezoidal nuts, you can thermally melt them into place using acetone or heat, utilizing the m5 part found at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1158265/#files. A new version of this file now features a cap that prevents linear rods from sliding up and interfering with the z endstop. The x axis has been modified to match the smooth x axis mod, and the tensioner arm for it was redesigned to fit 625zz bearings exactly. I also added several i3 mods: A modified spool holder is available here http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:755648 Smart LCD Holder with z endstop found at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1803825 Original creators deserve all the credits for their work.
