This redesign of the original Hephestos Z Axis makes significant improvements to the two X axis parts, specifically accommodating an 8mm threaded rod and incorporating a fitting for the corresponding nut. To prevent bearings from falling out over time, a small lip has been added to the inside at the bottom. All other aspects of this design remain faithful to the standard Hephestos configuration.
