Prusa I3 frame support/brace

Prusa I3 frame support/brace

There are already several frame support postings on Thingiverse, but I drew inspiration from eychu's design. His model uses 10mm screw rods and doesn't include SCAD files, so I had to start from scratch to create some compatible with a standard i3 frame. To upgrade the rear support, replace the original 8mm threaded rods on the I3 with 370mm versions. Additionally, you'll need two more 370mm 8mm threaded rods for the diagonals. Don't forget 16 off 8mm nuts and washers to secure everything in place. The angle of the rods is set at 20 degrees, matching the 100mm distance between the frame and the rear y-corners specified in the Prusa instructions. The frame shown in the pictures was CNC cut from 6mm Di-bond - a fantastic material to work with that provides outstanding rigidity when paired with this support.
