Prusa i3 Filament Holder Set

I was thrilled with the convenience of having the filament attached right above my printer, so for my first project, I decided to design and build a filament holder that attaches directly to the top of my machine. To start, I created the lower arm using a sturdy 1/2" piece of aluminum tubing for the crossbar, which can hold three rolls perfectly in place. As I acquired more colors of filament, I realized I could easily modify my initial design to create a second holder that would double my storage capacity. I also fabricated a connecting arm to stabilize the entire assembly and provide even greater support. The result is a sturdy and efficient system that can now hold up to six rolls of 1 lb filament, with only one roll currently in use because it's a larger 2.2 lb spool.
