Prusa i3 Filament Guide (for 8mm frame)
thingiverse
This is a straightforward filament guide intended to be affixed directly onto the 8mm frame of the Prusa i3. The positioning of the mounting holes was carefully based on existing holes in my own Migbot Prusa i3 frame. For optimal functionality, you'll need a high-quality 624 bearing (along with an M3 bolt) for the slot where the filament flows through. However, if such a bearing is not readily available, I've included a printable bushing-type substitute that can be used in its place. This particular design has proven to be reliable so far in one of my other projects - a belt tensioner. I've also included an empty frame plate for customization purposes, as well as the customized version that I designed specifically for my own printer setup. **Please refer to the provided instructions for best print results.** And don't worry about the subpar screenshots; I apologize for any inconvenience they may have caused.
