In this version, I enhanced Philsson's 40mm fan duct design (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:184055) by increasing the duct size for improved airflow to the extruded material. Additionally, I aimed to better control air flow around the nozzle after noticing distorted herringbone gears for a Wade-style extruder due to one-sided airflow. To address this issue, I blocked some airflow to distribute it more evenly. This modification resolved the distortion problem. Furthermore, I adjusted the 8mm by 15mm opening to aid cooling of the PEEK body in a J-Head, potentially reducing PLA jamming. Although beneficial for ABS use, this aspect has not been tested yet due to current plastic type limitations.
