Our Ooznest Prusa i3 Printer brings together a number of upgrades designed to improve its print capabilities. These upgrades include: Z-Axis Isolators (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:139857) Touch Nozzle Bed Homing (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:273805) Z-Axis Framebrace (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:186640) Belt Tensioners LCD Smart Cover (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:85644) Plus many more small upgrades... The Z-Axis Isolators significantly improve layer alignment and print quality, particularly at finer layers. Combining the isolators with a mechanical endstop allows for very simple touch nozzle bed homing. This makes printer maintenance much easier as it allows the x-axis to be lifted up manually. This has been designed to work with a Bulldog Lite/XL Extruder and Hexagon Hotend, but can be easily adapted to other combinations We have added a RAMPS 1.4 holder with dual 40mm fan bracket to keep it very cool during operation. A full build documentation, parts list, and pre-configured Marlin firmware have been created so you can get up and running as quickly as possible.
