thingiverse
The i3 extruder design by sgraber, inspired by Kliment's work, is available on GitHub at https://github.com/sgraber/i3ext. For a printable version, view the instructions below: You will need the following components in addition to the STL file: - An M5 rod, 62mm long - One locking nut (super glue can also work) - Two 625 bearings - A drive gear - A 608 bearing and a 20mm M8 rod for the idler - A j-head hotend - Two 30mm M3 screws and nuts to fix the hotend Please be aware that the small gear is designed for a shaft with a flat. If your motor doesn't have one, you will need to drill the gear bore to make it round. You can see the extruder in action on http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fu9SWw5dcGk.
