Prusa i3 bed leveling failure at point 3 fix

My Prusa MK2s is a rock-solid workhorse, except for one glaring weak point: bed leveling consistently fails at point 3 (and occasionally also points 4 and 9). These are the spots where the cable gets stretched to its limits. I discovered that if I firmly hold the cable's end during bed leveling, the problem is resolved. Consequently, I designed a sturdy brace to permanently secure it in place. If you've encountered this issue with your Prusa, post a comment below so we can share our experiences and find a lasting solution! Edit: Check out this YouTube video (not mine) for a visual explanation of what happens when bed leveling fails at point 3: the sensor triggers prematurely, and the printer enters "waiting for reset" mode. This isn't a calibration issue; Prusa customer service confirms that it's caused by a weak PINDA cable becoming compromised from repeated bending. Newer models feature a thicker PINDA cable as a result. Replacing the cable is a hassle, but I'm not sure how long my makeshift fix will last – so far, it's been minimal effort.
